広島県三次市　灰塚湖畔の森

「灰塚ダム」

広島県三次市（人口52,000人）にある2006年にダム事業を完了し現在に至る。

ダム完成により作られた人口湖「ハイヅカ湖」は一般公簿によって決められた名称で、ダム湖がカタカナ表記なのは北海道のアイヌ語湖名を除けば全国で数少なく、極めて珍しいとされている。（出典：wikipedia）

「灰塚湖畔の森」

ハイヅカ湖畔の森は、灰塚ダム建設(平成18年完成)に伴い、建設されたレクリエーション施設で、建物全体はハイヅカ湖の湖面を見下ろす山の頂きに建てられたコテージと、テニスコートや陶芸学習舎、林間学習舎等で構成されています。

若者（学生）のチカラで地域にエネルギーを！

３月３日・４日と灰塚湖畔の森にインターンシップしている学生と楽しい懇談をしました。昨年の夏に何かのご縁で当地の関係者と知り合い、意気投合して湖畔の森を訪れたのがきっかけで、地域の課題や将来についてあれこれ語り、若者の助けがいるよねって言ってたら、早速学生を招き地域課題の解決に取組はじめていました。

（左下）東洋大学　下沢さん。積極果敢で、明るい性格。気づきを求めて参加。

（右上）滋賀県立大学　岩間さん。マスコミ（ローカル）希望。地域課題を肌で。

（右下）花園大学　近藤さん。地域の人との出会いを通して何かをゲット。
